Art by the Card Challenge 2006: Card no. 8

And thus began week 2. This was hand-sewn (because I hate myself and have nothing better to do) with machine-embroidery thread on silk paper. I'd like to try doing something similar with a beading needle to see if I can avoid the slightly puckered look.

I've planned the next three classes, if we ignore the fact that I still need to write a quiz for next Tuesday.
