Earlier today, Miss Fish posted at the Embellished Circus about ATC orientation, i.e. landscape or portrait. It would appear from a very small, unscientific sampling of four people, that I'm in the minority. Most of my ATCs of late have been landscape, not portrait.
Later today, I made a vertical ATC. It took everything I had not to turn it on its side. To the left is "Vines." There's some Sharpie, some fluid acrylics (Why didn't I know about these earlier?), and a whole lot of gesso.
Gesso is my new best friend because it covers up many of my mistakes.
There's nothing below the fold.

Hmmm... everyone is talking about these fluid acrylics. I guess I need to get some! Are they sold in little individual bottles or packaged as sets. What's the deal-i-o Zh.?
Yeah, they're sold in individual bottles. Golden makes them. I'm smitten because you can water them down easily to do a wash BUT because they're acrylics, they stay put when you re-wet them. I'm planning on using them for art journaling.
