Ptichka checked out a book of Bosch's art for me yesterday. It's mainly religious art with a smattering of monsters, who are mostly drawn. Of course, this isn't doing much for my desire to draw non-scary creatures. She then suggested, because she is the smartest thing in this household, that I look at Klee. Yes! How could I have forgotten about Klee. After class tonight, I shall rally the troops and go to the library to check out some Klee. And some Bosch. I had forgotten how terrifying his work is.

In unrelated news, it looks as though Ptichka will be returning to work on Tuesday if everything goes as planned. Cross everything crossable, please! The lockout has sucked and wrought havoc on my sleep schedule.
