This is for a hearts deco. What can I say? I do like pink. I like pink quite a bit. I also like paper hearts. And flowers. And pretty things. It's not so bad, really. It could be much worse.
Found paper, gesso, shibori, chiyogami, watermark tissue, sequin, and silk thread.
And now I have a friggin' fairy deco to work on for a round robin. Bleh. I'm pretty certain that once upon a time fairies were feminist figures but now they're just lame, limpid-eyed gnats.
I know this means that they need to be rescued from the masses, but frankly, I'm far more interested in the future Kevin Costner renaissance. My bet is that in another ten-fifteen years, someone somewhere will offer an upper-level course on Kevin Costner, misunderstood genius. Waterworld and The Postman will be rehabilitated because they are truly great films that were merely out of sync with cynical fin-de-siècle culture. And before you think that I've completely lost it, I'll have you know that my theory relies on me never having seen either film. If I had, I'm sure that I would have chucked them in the dustbin.
There's nothing below the fold.

That's a very pretty deco. I love it!
p.s. I'm with you re: the fairies. I have the same feelings about clowns.
Fairies suck. I've had my fairy pieces cut and ready to clue for over a week now and I can't bring myself to do the feckin' spread. Argh.
The reason that this pink is not making you gag is because it's good pink, not peach-pink or ballet-pink, both of which belong on ballerinas and not many other places. V: You'll have to tell me if you still like to page after you see it in person. Oh, and I did my first gel medium transfer today. I think that I may be an addict now. Sigh.
