Next time I do anything involving a honeybee, it will be a completely stylized one, and not a semi-realistic one. I used to have a recurring nightmare about being stung on the forehead by a honeybee. I still remember the soulless eyes as the bee lowered its stinger to the middle of my forehead. The eyes of honeybees have always freaked me out. Even this deco page skeeves me a bit. It's the blank eye. Maybe I should give him an iris and a pupil?
I definitely need to work on my water colour washes.
