Art by the Card Challenge 2006: Card no. 17

I painted card no. 17 after Ptichka and I came home from out nightly walk on Friday. We picked up a few fall leaves along the way. One tiny maply leaf inspired this one.

I'm so happy with the colour of the leaf that I'm going to ignore the off-kilteredness of the leaf's stem. The entire ATC was done in fluid acrylics. When am I going to use the tubs of high-viscosity stuff I bought this summer?
